Undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with in the world of freelance developmental editing and organizational change management, S. Rénā + Co. Editorial Boutique is a minority-owned and operated elite editorial services provider, specializing in heavy developmental editing and immersive organizational storytelling. Founded by multi-international award-winning editor and writer Shaundale Rénā, clients range from independent to traditionally published authors with fiction and nonfiction titles, as well as Fortune 500 companies and small businesses.

Shaundale holds a bachelor's degree in computer information systems (CIS) from Grambling State University and a Certification in Technical Writing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has trained under the Author Accelerator book coaching certification program with Jennie Nash and is also the New Releases columnist for Kiza BlackLit Magazine and a book reviewer for both the African American Literature Book Club (AALBC) and Readers' Favorite Book Reviews.

No stranger to adventure, she enjoys reading and writing with an occasional dose of fine dining and travel. (I didn't say what kind of adventure.) Shaundale has edited books released under Adam's Media (a subsidiary of Simon and Schuster) and Lake Union Press (a subsidiary of Amazon Publishing), in addition to self-published titles and corporate projects in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI). Her projects have garnered both national and international acclaim, and her clients can be found working regular jobs, featured in magazines and/or local news, on social media podcasts like Facebook's Red Table Talk, or even at the 2024 Paris Olympics!

A member of the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Shaundale enjoys being part of a long list of highly successful, multi-faceted, influential women in business (like, Soror Madam Vice President Kamala Harris). Having been published and featured in various newsmagazines and other articles, she is currently a multi-award-winning author of three published books and a contributing author for three additional publications. Shaundale wields her proverbial "red pen" as a gifted writer and successful entrepreneur, who is affiliated with Professional Editors Network (PEN) and Black Editors & Proofreaders (BEP). A professional by day and an artist by night, she balances both worlds by watching all things Marvel and DC―hence the persona @StonyRhodes―and celebrates her first trilogy being voted the 2016 Crystal Awards Best Newcomer on Wattpad.com. 

Today, Shaundale shares her signature Immersive Organizational Storytelling™ expertise with CEOs and entrepreneurs, helping organizations move beyond simply communicating their story to creating environments in which their people can experience it. As an organizational storytelling strategist, she develops stories for both authors and organizations—helping authors make readers enter a story and organizations make their people and customers experience theirs.

Her understanding of organizational storytelling is informed by firsthand experience inside one of the world's most recognized immersive storytelling organizations. As a Disney Cast Member in 1995 and again in 2025, along with completing two professional Disney internships, Shaundale experienced organizational culture, communication, training, and brand storytelling from the inside. That experience informs her belief that an organization's story should not live solely in its mission statement, marketing materials, or internal communications. It should be woven into the people, systems, environment, language, and experiences that make the organization what it is.
